WHAT I DO
STUDIO RECORDING
I have been turning out records at my studio here for about 25 years, in about every method possible, from heavily multi tracked/overdubbed songs to everyone in the room, live at once, hit record. Artists with nothing but acoustic instruments, rock/punk bands, and folks who use heavy synthesis. It's all just music. But the process does kinda depend on the music and the vision of the artist. With 35+ years of being on both sides of the glass in recording studios, from world famous institutions to the most humble of project studios, I know how to get from point A to point B. And have some fun on the way.
LIVE SHOWS/EVENT MIXING AND SETUP
I am a proud member of our local IATSE 675 (that's the stagehand union, which sound techs are a part of), but the job does not have to be a union job. I often work at the theatres around town like the Hult Center, the Wildish, as well as other local venues (and some not so local), including a long standing run as lead tech at Tsunami Books. I can mix the show on your rig, or bring my own. I am trained and certified in Dante as well, if that matters.
LIVE RECORDING
I can record your live event as well. (I can also stream it; but nobody really seems to be interested in that anymore, maybe was a COVID era thing). Generally/usually, it is best and easiest if I mix the show, but if that's not an option, I can grab a split and record the show from that.
TLDR;
I record, mix, arrange, produce, master, stream, and anything else that an audio engineer typically does.
